The Big Tree
Is certainly something worthwhile seeing when visiting Moulamein. At over 11 metres wide the Red Gum is assumed to be over 300 years old.

State Forests
We are very close to the Benjee State Forest which has access for your boat or fishing off the bank and is an excellent place to try your luck for the big Murray Cod.
Also close to Berambong State Forest which gives you access to kilometers of the Edward River for big Murray Cod fishing and Crayfish.

Lake Moulamein
Moulamein Lake has water in it all year round, excellent for boat skiing and other water sports.
Lake keys are available for a fee per day, week, or yearly.

Old Wharf
Here stands another reminder of bygone days when the town prospered as an inland port, when the river system was the most effective means of transport for local produce. The old wharf, at present being restored, is located on the northern banks of the Edward River.

Things To Do
Old Court House
The Old Court House was built in the late 1800's, where people were brought from as far as Albury to be tried. This building is a relic of the days when the town was a thriving center in the southern Riverina.
